Junior Golf Starting at the Roseburg Country Club

Junior Golf camps are continuing at the Roseburg Country Club giving youth of all skill levels an opportunity to learn the game. Beginner camps for ages 5-10 will teach the basics of golf while playing games to develop coordination skills required in golf. This is an introductory camp and is intended for beginning-level children. The next class begins on August 9-12 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Intermediate camps for ages 8-13 will be a more golf-orientated format of instruction while playing a few holes on the course. This camp provides more instruction to develop your child's game but a variety of games are included to keep things fun. The first camp for the intermediate level begins on June 28 – July 1 from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. There is also an intermediate camp beginning on August 2-5. An advanced camp for ages 12-16 is designed to help kids hoping to be successful in high school. This class is based around instruction while playing 9-holes each day and learning course management. The advanced camp runs August 23-26 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Drinks, snacks, and prizes are included in the cost of the camps. These camps are open to Roseburg Country Club members children, grandchildren, or family members. If you would like to participate in any of the camps or clinics, please email Karl Hamilton, the PGA Head Golf Professional to sign-up. Karl@RoseburgCountryClub.com
