Roseburg Reaches 113 Degrees, Smashes All Time Temperature Record

Sunday was the hottest day ever recorded for Roseburg, Oregon at 113 degrees. The previous high temperature record was 109 degrees set on July 20th 1946, and then again on August 15th, 2020. All-time high temperature records were also broken at the following locations across Oregon today: Astoria reached 101 degrees Eugene 111 degrees Hillsboro 109 degrees McMinnville 111 degrees Portland Airport 112 degrees Portland Downtown 110 degrees Salem 113 degrees Troutdale 112 degrees Vancouver 112 degrees Temperatures will cool off a bit in Douglas County starting on Monday with a high expected to be around 97 degrees, then low 90's the rest of the week. The North Umpqua River almost reached 84 degrees today. It should drop back down in the week to come as temperatures at night cool down a bit.
