Fire crews have stopped the forward spread of the Dodge Creek Fire. The fire is located approximately five miles northwest of Sutherlin off Highway 138W. 

Here is the latest update from the Sutherlin Fire Department: 

"Dodge Creek Fire Update: 1:20pm
The forward spread of the Dodge Creek Fire has been stopped. Crews are now securing containment lines and mopping up hot spots around the fire. Expect continued firefighting activity over the next several hours.
