"Little John" John Michael Bower, 79, of Tyee, Oregon, passed away peacefully at home on August 25th 2022, surrounded by family and friends. John is survived by his wife Diane of 60 years, his brother and sister, James (Jim) Bower and Vicky Bruno, his three children Kent, Travis and Lori, his three grandchildren Stefanie, Chris and Ryan, and several great grandchildren.

John worked as a carpenter for many years, and he forged many strong friendships. Most will remember him fondly with fishing pole and beer in hand - a small man with a big heart. Hopefully there are bigger fish in heaven than in the Umpqua River.

No services will take place, as LJ requested, but the family appreciates your love and support at this time.
