Bonnie L. Woods

Bonnie L. Woods, 87, passed away on Aug. 24, 2022, at home with family. She was born Dec. 9, 1934 in Platte, SD. She grew up in Cottage Grove and graduated from Cottage Grove High School in 1953. In 1953 she married Richard Woods in Reno, NV on their way to New York. She lived in Brooklyn, NY while Richard served in the United States Navy from 1951 to 1956. They returned to Oregon in 1956. She was a 66-year resident of Roseburg. She enjoyed traveling and gardening. Bonnie is preceded in death by her parents James and Blanche White. Aunts; Claudia Buzby, Eloise Derse, San Myrick. Uncles; Tom and Edgar White; and Grandson Jeremy Hardage. She is survived by her husband Richard; her daughters Carey Peck and Cathy Ehrenfelt; her sons Chris, Curtis, and Craig Woods; 12 Grandchildren and 22 Great-Granchildren. Bonnie and Richard would have celebrated 69 yrs. of marriage this Sept. She will be laid to rest at the Roseburg National Cemetery - VA on Sept. 21, 2022 at 2:00 p.m.
