Douglas County Cancer Services is hosting the 22nd annual Pretty in Pink Tea and Fashion Show on Sunday, Oct. 9 at 12:30 p.m. at Seven Feathers Casino and Resort. Tickets are available in advance for $40 at Douglas County Cancer Services and at dccancerservices.com.

The event will feature Jeffrey Elvis, a silent auction, a quilt raffle, and door prizes. There will be a pink hat contest and brunch with a cash bar.

The Tea and Fashion Show honors breast cancer survivors in this informative, upbeat and fun event. All proceeds are used to assist cancer patients in Douglas County. The models of the event are breast cancer survivors and each one’s breast cancer journey is told during the modeling of fashions, which are provided by Maurice’s. Local 1110 and 2091 firefighters are escorts of the models during the event.
