MOD Pizza opens Wednesday morning, Sept. 14 in Roseburg at 10:30 a.m. The first 50 customers will receive a free MOD-size pizza and anyone who signs up for MOD rewards within the first month will receive one on their next visit. The fast-casual restaurant soft opened today and will be open tomorrow for limited hours around lunch and dinner for "Bridge Day." All of the sales from the soft opening will be donated to the MOD Bridge Fund which is the company's employee relief fund for employees in times of crisis. There will also be a "Community Day" where all of the proceeds will go to the FISH Food Pantry on Sept. 29. The restaurant is at 1176 NW Garden Valley Blvd., next to Rodeo Steakhouse. The job openings are listed on the website and will hire about 25 "Squad Members." The build-your-own pizza chain started in Seattle, WA in 2008 and has expanded to more than 20 states and more than 500 locations. From the company spokesperson - MOD’s individually sized pizzas and hand-tossed salads are fully customizable, with more than 40 toppings, eight finishing sauces, and eight delectable dressings. Every pizza or salad is made on demand in front of the customers and is completely unique – but regardless the toppings, the price always stay the same. The store hours will be: Sunday to Wednesday - 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Thursday to Saturday - 10:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. *** This story has been updated to reflect a change to the opening date and to add the store hours. *** Photo courtesy of Evan Kruse.
