Walk With A Doc Answers Community Health Questions

This Saturday, a doctor will lead a walk and a discussion around health. The free community walk helps get people moving and answers questions they might have about different health topics. Bring your health related questions the the East end of the YMCA parking lot on Saturday at 8 a.m. to meet with a doctor. This Saturday is "open mic style." Usually, the doctor brings an educational topic and discusses that on the walk, but this week, attendees are encouraged to bring their own questions. The Walk with a Doc event is every third Saturday and goes through Stewart Park. There is no registration. Attendees can walk at their own pace and get their blood pressure checks. They should bring water and comfortable shoes for walking. The event is led by Aviva Health and the Roseburg Family Medicine Residency Program. It is sponsored by CHI Mercy Health, Thrive Umpqua, and site sponsor Roseburg Parks & Recreation.
