Mercy Hospice to Hold Virtual Celebration of Life on November 17

11:53 PM · Nov 14, 2022

As we near the end of the year, Mercy Hospice is inviting friends and family members of loved ones who have passed away to a virtual celebration of life on Nov. 17 at 6 p.m. Mercy Hospice holds the event every year, but transitioned to a virtual event in 2020 as a way to give space for people who could not hold or attend a funeral or memorial. “There are many in our community who have lost a loved one in these past couple of years, and they feel very alone in their grief. We just want them to know that they are not alone and want to say, ‘we see you,’” Mercy Hospice Bereavement Coordinator Stan Welch said. “We want to set aside this special time to recognize their loss, but also to pause and be thankful for the lives of those who have passed away and who meant so much to us.” The memorial service will be streamed and will include brief thoughts of reflection, inspirational encouragement and music. The link will be posted at chimercyhealth.com/services/hospice-services before the event start on Thursday at 6 p.m. Questions? Contact Stan Welch at (541) 464-5430 See less
