Remembering Everett Gerald Brown

Everett Brown, 76, of Roseburg, Oregon went home to be with the Lord on February 6, 2023. He was born on January 11, 1947 in Tyler, Missouri to Clarence and Leola Brown. His younger years he grew up in Cooter, Mo. In 1958 he moved with his family to California. He attended Maricopa High School in Maricopa, CA where he excelled in all sports. He graduated in 1965 and then went to serve in the United States Army. Everett was stationed in Anchorage Alaska where he served in the Military Police. After returning home from the Army, Everett furthered his law enforcement career by joining the Chico California Police Department. Everett loved his family and grandchildren very much and enjoyed spending time playing his guitar, wood working, leather making, and metal detecting. He loved life and telling stories of his youth and the good ol’ days. Everett was a wonderful father, grandfather, and friend. He had a heart of gold and will be missed dearly by all who loved him. Everett is survived by three children. Two daughters, Shelly Johnson (Spouse David), and Kaelah Brown (Spouse Steven) and one Son Everett Brown Jr. Everett was also survived by four grandkids, Chrystal, Christopher, Wyatt and Lucas. Survived by his loving sister, Glenda Hendricks and her spouse Jack. Two Nephews, Michael and Matthew along with any Cousins, Aunts and Uncles who he loved deeply. Everett is preceded in death by his Spouse, Laura Lee Brown who passed away in 2012 and his parents Clarence and Leola Brown in 1994. Cremation handled by Wilson’s Chapel of the Roses in Roseburg, Oregon with no service at this time.
