Rain!!! It looks like at least a quarter inch of rain will fall on the fires over the next several days, and it could be more like 1/2 inch! How amazing is that? The Tyee Ridge Complex is 4,876 acres. If it rains a quarter-inch on 4876 acres, over 33 million gallons of water would fall. For perspective, one helicopter drop is 680 gallons or so. So 1/4 inch of rain over that fire would be the equivalent of 48,676 helicopter drops! Thank God it's going to rain!
