Power outage update from Douglas Electric “2:30 AM - We have a large scale outage affecting over 3,300 meters throughout our system. We have lost transmission to the Drain, Elkton, and Scottsburg substations so all members in those areas are affected as well as a large number of members in the Lookingglass and Melrose areas. There are also members impacted in the Tenmile Lake, Lower Smith River, and Camas Valley areas. We have all hands on deck but this is a large scale event and will likely last into the morning.
