ROSEBURG, Ore. – Aviva Health is opening its new Sutherlin Clinic, located at 775 Taylor Street, Monday, April 1, 2024. The non-profit Federally Qualified Health Center’s previous Sutherlin office was situated just north of the Apple Peddler Restaurant on Ponderosa Drive. Late last year, the Ponderosa Drive clinic which Aviva Health had been leasing was sold. The change in ownership presented Aviva Health with an opportunity to purchase a building of its own. “The new Taylor Street location is ideal for us,” says Lauren Haddock, MDA, RDN, LD, vice president of Clinical Operations at Aviva Health. “It’s very close to the city center, has easy access to and from Interstate 5, and the lot offers space for expansion should the need arise.” The 5,300-sq.-ft., single-story building was previously home to a denture lab. It features eight exam rooms and one procedure room. The building sits on a 3-acre lot, which provides ample space for future growth. Since late last year, Aviva Health Sutherlin patients have been receiving care at the organization’s Roseburg Clinic. The last day Sutherlin patients will be seen in Roseburg is Friday, March 29. All appointments after that date will be scheduled at the new clinic location. The Aviva Health Sutherlin Clinic is open Monday through Friday, from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Services offered include family medicine and pediatrics. Behavioral health care and dietitian support are available via telemedicine, and a pharmacy is located at Aviva Health’s main Roseburg Clinic.
