Blocktober Fest Returns to Downtown Roseburg Sat Oct. 4
The 4th annual Blocktober Fest will take place Saturday, October 4, in downtown Roseburg from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. The free community festival will feature live music, food, beer, wine, and local vendors. Performances include That Other Band from 12 to 1:30 p.m., Mother Smuckers from 2 to 3:30 p.m., and headliner Joseph from 4:15 to 5:45 p.m. Organizers describe the event as family-friendly and open to all ages. The Family Stage will also feature a visit from Wildlife Safari, bringing an up-close experience with animals to entertain and educate festival-goers of all ages. In addition to live music and performance, the festival showcases: • Downtown Businesses, Local Vendors & Community Partners: Explore regional makers, artisans, and retailers alongside informational booths from local programs and organizations, all stretching along SE Jackson and SE Main streets. • Craft Beer & Wine: Enjoy selections from local breweries and wineries in the heart of downtown. • Family Activities: Take part in interactive fun, including Arrow Tag, The Blade Axe House, and the Thundering Water’s WOWtruck. • Food Trucks & Downtown Restaurants: A variety of delicious food options to satisfy every craving. To support festival-goers, there will be no downtown parking enforcement on October 4. Blocktober Fest is presented by NeighborWorks Umpqua and supported by community sponsors, including Columbia Bank, Rogue Credit Union, Pacific Power, Umpqua Community College, North Forty Beer Company, and the City of Roseburg.
