Bobalou Billiards: Roseburg's Family-Friendly Pool & Billiard Hall

On January 8th of 2024, Roseburg welcomed Bobalou Billiards, a dedicated pool and billiard hall. Bobalou Billiards is located on NE Stephens in the former Indian Lanes (bowling alley) building. Bobalou Billiards is a family-friendly, non-alcoholic billiards room, "aiming to provide a safe and enjoyable environment for all ages and skill levels to learn, play, and compete in various billiards games," said Sheryl Snow, Bobalou Billiards co-owner. "We are excited about being a new Roseburg venue for the youth and our billiard community. We are excited to offer another entertainment experience for the area," said Snow. Bobalou Billiards is co-owned by Sheryl Snow, Robert Bobalou-Gering, and Steve Gray. Inside Bobalou is a large pool room with 33 tables. Twenty-two regulation 9-foot tables, eight 7-foot tables, one 5x10 carom billiards table, and one 6x12 snooker table. They also have arcade games including air hockey, two foosball tables, and a dartboard. As an authorized dealer for Rhino, Cuetec, and Imperial, they offer pool tables, cues, and shafts for sale. Branded merchandise and affordable snacks and drinks are also available. "From young to old, non experienced to pro we have the pool tables you need and want to play on," said Snow. "With a focus on education and outreach, the business plans to offer programs for youth and elderly individuals to learn about billiards and its many benefits". These programs will be led by experienced professionals for anyone wanting to improve their skills. Bobalou hosts regular events and tournaments, including an upcoming 2-day tournament on October 26-27 for players with Fargo ratings of 650 or under (for 9-ball) and 550 or under (for 10-ball). "These events will be an opportunity for individuals to showcase their skills, meet new people, and have a great time." Snow said within a year or so, Bobalou plans to expand its arcade and food options to include burgers and other grilled foods inside or by food truck. Bobalou also makes their space available for birthday parties, meetings, or even holiday employee parties. As a new family-owned business, the team behind Bobalou Billiards invites the community to come and support their vision of creating a unique recreational space for billiards enthusiasts of all levels.
