Crater Lake Now has 11.5 Feet of Snow
The most recent storm has dumped almost 4 feet of snow at Crater Lake National Park over the past 6 days. The park now has 138 inches of snow, which is 59 inches higher than normal for this point of the winter. Normal snow depth for today is 79 inches. Another 8-12 inches of snow is predicted over the next few days before another dry/cold spell arrives. Temperature at the park is not predicted to go above 27 degrees over the next 10 days and there are several days with low temps in the single digits. Forecast for next week is still a bit up in the air as far as precipitation goes, but lower temperatures 20's every day are expected for next week. More to come as it becomes available.
