Crater Lake Now has 14.5 Feet of Snow, All Roads Into Park Temporarily Closed
Crater Lake received almost 5 feet of snow since Thursday and now has 14.5 feet of snow (175 inches). This is 6 feet higher than normal for this time of year. Road report from the park: "All Roads into Crater Lake National Park are Temporarily CLOSED Date Posted: 3/17/2025Alert 1, Severity closure, All Roads are Temporarily CLOSED Hwy 62 through the park and Munson Valley Road to Park Headquarters and Rim Village are temporarily CLOSED to all but emergency traffic as our plow operators work to clear the roads of deep snow.
