Detours Set as Edenbower Blvd Undergoes Railroad Crossing Upgrade

Temporary Closure of NW Edenbower Boulevard for Railroad Crossing Replacement in Roseburg ROSEBURG, Ore. – NW Edenbower Boulevard will be closed from Aviation Drive to Stephens Street this weekend for the replacement of the railroad crossing. The closure begins at 9 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 23, and ends at 6 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 26. During this period, all traffic will be detoured. Eastbound traffic on Edenbower Boulevard must use NW Aviation Drive to access NE Stephens Street. Westbound traffic will be rerouted via NW Stewart Parkway and NW Aviation Drive or by using Hooker Road to NW Aviation Drive. Central Oregon & Pacific Railroad will start work on Friday, rebuilding the crossing with new ballast, ties, rail, and concrete panels. Knife River Materials will pave the approaches to the crossing after the railroad work is completed on Sunday night.
