DFPA Tackles 45-Acre Doe Hollow Fire East of Canyonville
On May 22nd 2025, at 5:30 PM, the Douglas Forest protective Association responded to the Doe Hollow fire located off Days Cr. Rd. (east of Canyonville) Initial response was made of engines, a tender, and a dozer. Many of those resources remained on scene overnight. The fire is initially sized up to roughly 45 acres and will be officially mapped during today’s operations. Today’s staffing of the fire includes DFPA engines with firefighters, a DFPA dozer, and two 20 person firefighting crews from a local contract company.
