Douglas County Fairgrounds to Host 40th Annual “Sampling Umpqua” Quilt Show
The Umpqua Valley Quilters’ Guild is set to host its 40th Annual Quilt Show, Sampling Umpqua, from April 25–27, 2025, at the Douglas County Fairgrounds in Roseburg, Oregon. This year’s show will feature judged quilts as well as five special exhibits showcasing quilting artistry from across the country. Highlights include The Magic of Fabulous Faces, a 40-piece collection, and Sacred Threads, a 39-piece display exploring personal themes through textile art. Visitors will also enjoy The Storytellers, an exhibit from Clark County, Washington, along with two international showcases from 20 Perspectives, a group of global textile artists. These traveling exhibits bring diverse techniques and storytelling traditions to the Roseburg community, making this year’s show one of the most anticipated yet.
