F-15 Fighter Jets Set to Fly Over Roseburg This Veterans Day

On November 11, 2023, Roseburg will be part of a Veterans Day tribute as F-15 Eagle fighter jets from the 173rd Fighter Wing perform a flyover. Scheduled to occur around 11:35 a.m., the jets will approach from the south and fly over downtown Roseburg. At an altitude of about 1,000 feet, these jets will travel at speeds near 400 mph. This flyover is a segment of a series of tributes across Oregon. However, changes in schedule may occur due to weather or operational requirements. The 173rd Fighter Wing, a vital part of the Oregon Air National Guard, is the sole F-15C pilot training facility for the U.S. Air Force. This event honors the service and sacrifice of veterans.
