Northbound I-5 Garden Valley On-ramp Will Be Closed at Night Next Week

ROSEBURG – The Exit 125 northbound “loop” on-ramp for eastbound Garden Valley Blvd. traffic will be closed four consecutive nights (8 p.m. to 6 a.m.) starting Monday, Feb. 12, for sidewalk construction. The loop on-ramp is located at the southeast corner of the interchange, next to the northbound off-ramp and the Quality Inn motel. All other ramps at Exit 125, including the straight northbound on-ramp for westbound Garden Valley Blvd. traffic, will remain open. During the ramp closures, local motorists planning to travel north on Interstate 5 are advised to use alternate routes. This work is part of a $2.4 million project that will improve safety and the flow of traffic at Exit 125 by adding a dedicated right-turn lane to the northbound off-ramp, replacing traffic signals and upgrading sidewalk ADA ramps.
