Below is a message sent to RHS families this morning: "Hello RHS families, Due to the power outage at our campus, we unfortunately need to cancel school at RHS for the remainder of the day. Pacific Power is indicating that power will not be restored until this evening. Without power, many of our bathroom facilities are not functioning and we will not be able to provide meals. All after-school activities will be canceled for the day as well. Students will be released at 10:05 a.m. and buses will be running their regular routes. Parents are welcome to pick up their children at our release time if preferred. We will update families later today once we know more from Pacific Power. Thank you for your patience and understanding. David Vickery RHS Principal" According to Pacific Power's website, the outage was caused by a car accident and 122 customers are currently without power, including Roseburg High School. The outage appears to be centered in the SE portion of Roseburg, near Downtown Roseburg. Via Roseburg School District
