Red Flag Warning Issued for Douglas County, July 20-21

The National Weather Service in Medford has issued a Red Flag Warning for many areas of Douglas County today, Saturday, July 20, 2024, from 5pm until 8am on Sunday, July 21, 2024. This is due to relatively low humidity, high temperatures and strong gusty winds. This combination of weather factors increases the potential for fast moving wildfires. Please avoid anything that creates a spark or open flame. There are several Public Use Restrictions in effect on private and public lands to minimize the wildfire threat.
