10:19 PM · Dec 13, 2019The following message was sent out to parents this morning. "11:45 am on 12/13/19 to RHS Families. If you have any questions about the content of this post or would like additional information, please do not hesitate to call our main office at 541-440-4142." "Dear RHS Families, We would like to once again reassure students, staff and families that we have found no credible threats to safety or security at Roseburg High School. Rumors are continuing to circulate regarding an online post reported yesterday that resulted in an investigation. The investigation revealed that a statement made online had been misinterpreted and was deemed not to be a threat. Since then, students and parents have continued to report the rumors they are hearing related to this incident. While we always encourage parents, students and staff to report potential threats, we have determined that the rumors are false. Our goal is for every student to feel safe on campus, and we appreciate everyone’s willingness to report their concerns. Out of an abundance of caution, we have increased police and security presence on campus today, and we are hoping students can put aside these rumors and return to learning. Sincerely, RHS Administration
