Rite Aid will permanently close its last Roseburg location beginning June 4, with the front end closing on June 10. The pharmacy will stop operating on June 4, while the rest of the store, including general retail items will remain open through June 10 to allow for final sales and inventory clearance. The closure is part of the company’s plan to wind down operations as it shuts down over 1,200 stores across the country due to financial struggles and debt. Rite Aid says prescriptions will be transferred to nearby pharmacies to avoid disruptions. This marks the end of Rite Aid’s presence in Roseburg after decades of service.
