The Glide volleyball team was swept by Bonanza Thursday night in a Southern Cascade League match.

Set scores were 25-15, 25-17, 25-12. Both teams came into the night unbeaten in league play. Teagan Triplett had five kills and six digs for Glide (4-8, 3-1). Ruby Livingston had two aces, four kills and eight digs. Lily Ranger had eight assists. Zoe Parazoo had 11 digs. “We played really hard tonight, we just killed ourselves on errors,” Glide coach Stephanie Furlong said. “The girls were nervous tonight and kept making errors and couldn’t recover from them.” Glide will play in the Crusader Classic Tournament at St. Mary’s of Medford this Saturday along with Sutherlin and Douglas. “Our offense wasn’t great tonight, but our defense was better than it has ever been,” Furlong said. “The girls are hungry to play Bonanza again and this weekend in the tournament. It’s not a loss you hang your head about.” “After tonight we need a lot playing time. The tournament this weekend is perfect timing, following this match.” Furlong said. Glide will resume SCL play next Tuesday at home against Butte Falls.
