Waldron's Outdoor Sports Relocating to Expanded Store on NE Stephens Street in Roseburg
Waldron’s Outdoor Sports in Roseburg is gearing up for a shift to a new spot in town. The family-owned business will keep its current location open through March 27, 2025, before opening doors at the former Carquest building (old Kings Table) at 450 NE Stephens Street on April 1. To prepare, the store has been running a blowout sale for months, clearing inventory and spreading the word about the move. “We have been blowing out some inventory for the past couple of months getting ready for the move. This blowout sale has given us the opportunity to educate customers on our plans with the move,” said Todd Black, co-owner of Waldron’s Outdoor Sports. The new space, slightly larger than the current one, offers a layout that suits the vision of the owners—Todd and his son Brody Black—who operate the business as a father-son team. They’re adding personal touches to enhance the Waldron’s experience. Archery will become a bigger focus, with a range for youth education and winter shooting leagues. The firearms wall will expand to feature more new and used options, and the fishing section will grow with input from local guides on top baits and gear. Favorites like Crispi Boots and HO water sports products will remain, and the store’s Oakley Sunglass selection might soon include Costa brand glasses. A Roseburg-born family, passionate about the area’s outdoor offerings—from beaches to mountains—owns the business. “We are a family that was born and raised in the Roseburg area. We have enjoyed the variety of outdoor experiences unique to this area—whether it be beach, river, lake, mountain, desert or snow related—This area offers an exciting outdoor adventure for anyone's interest. Our goal is to make sure we offer something that will help make your adventure as successful, enjoyable and safe as possible,” said Todd Black. The team is excited about the relocation. As Waldron’s nears its 50th year in business, the owners are eager to shape its next chapter. Shoppers can visit the original location through March 27 for deals and details before Waldron’s settles into its new spot. Starting April 1, the store will open in its new location, ready to serve Roseburg's outdoor enthusiasts.
