Welcome K9 Zorro to the Douglas County Sheriff's Department

(DCSO) We would like to introduce you to the newest member of our agency. 🐾🚔 Please welcome K9 Zoro to the Douglas County Sheriff's Office. Sergeants O'Dell and Dorland traveled to Riverside, California this last week testing dogs and ultimately selecting Zoro, a German Shepherd, who will be two in January. He and his new handler, Deputy Black, will bond over the next 6 weeks before they begin training together to become a certified patrol team. We wish to thank all of you who have made this addition possible. Thanks to the generous donations and funds provided by the community, K9 Zoro will be an asset to our community for many years to come. We look forward to keeping you up to date on his progress.
