30 Acre Pisgah Fire Burning Southeast of Springfield

ODF and Douglas Forest Protective Association resources are responding to the #PisgahFire southeast of Springfield. Currently reported at 30+ acres, the fire is burning in the Mt. Pisgah Park in Lane county, in grass and timber. Park evacuations are in effect - all trails are closed. Cause of the fire is under investigation. Aggressive initial attack efforts are underway. Aviation and ground resources include: 3 type II helicopters 2 single engine air tankers 1 large air tanker 3 water tenders Approx 85 personnel
