The No 3 ranked Days Creek Volleyball team won its sixth straight Skyline League game Thursday night, beating Camas Valley in four sets.

Set scores were 25-10, 25-15, 22-25, 25-11. Moriah Michaels led the Wolves with 12 digs and 13 kills. Ashtyn Slater had 7 aces and Joleen Crume added 17 kills. Megan Kruzic had 37 assists for Days Creek (12-2, 6-0) who is undefeated in Skyline League play. “Camas Valley really made us work for it,” Days Creek coach Gloria Kruzic said. “Always fun to play there, loud gym, supportive community. Camas Valley was really scrappy. When we had a lull they took it to us and made us earn the W in a fourth set. I think we’re learning and growing all the time. Excited to see where we end up.” Camas Valley (9-2, 6-1) had won all six of their Skyline League matches coming into the match against Days Creek. Days Creek plays in the in the Mackenzie tournament this Saturday. Days Creek resumes Skyline League play against Elkton (8-2, 7-1) next Tuesday in a matchup of the top two teams in the conference. Camas Valley plays at Glendale (1-9, 0-6) on Saturday at 6 p.m.
