(RPD) On Thursday morning just after 2:30am, Roseburg Police Officers responded to the report of a male lying in the roadway in the 1300 block of NE Stephens.  18 year old Roseburg resident, Isaiah Freeman was found with numerous injuries, which were determined to be caused when he was struck by a passing vehicle.  Freeman was transported to Mercy via ambulance where he was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.  Freeman is expected to make a full recovery.

A person of interest was identified in this incident and they were later contacted by Officers.  During the investigation a vehicle was seized for processing for potential evidence from the accident.  The investigation is ongoing.
