Pyle allegedly strangled Jewell and hit her in the head with a blunt object that caused serious physical injury to her. Jewell required transport to Riverbend Hospital in Springfield for treatment of her injuries. Pyle left the scene but was later located at a residence in Winston, where he was arrested. Billings displayed signs of impairment, and he is also on Probation with a no alcohol condition. He was arrested for DUII Alcohol and a Probation Violation, and also refused to take a breath test.
