CHARGE(S): VEHICLE(S): 1996 Ford F150; OR VKQ837. DETAIL(S): An investigation revealed Palmer turned north from Edenbower onto Stephens, missed his lane of travel due to the rain, darkness, and wet pavement, then over-corrected and lost traction which sent his vehicle over the curb and into a power pole. Palmer and his passenger were wearing their seatbelts, and were uninjured. Palmer’s vehicle was towed by Roseburg Towing. The power pole appeared only to sustain cosmetic damage and the utility company was notified of the incident. DISPO: Traffic Collision. He initially fled the scene, but was found nearby. He displayed signs of impairment, and was arrested for DUII Alcohol.
