PATROL: Roseburg Police OFFICER: RPD DATE/TIME: 05/16/2020 (10:30 AM) LOCATION: 1350 NE Stephens, Roseburg INCIDENT: Shoplifting CASE #: 202049 PERSON(S): (S) Kamberger, Brandon Michael (28) Roseburg CHARGE(S): Theft III, Resisting Arrest, Disorderly Conduct II, Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine , Criminal Trespass II VEHICLE(S): DETAIL(S): Kamberger stole a bottle of alcohol from the Liquor Store. When he left with the liquor he trespassed in a posted alley. When contacted he demanded the police shoot him and tried to leave. Kamberger was stopped from leaving and tried to grab a large knife on his belt. The officer was able to remove the knife and throw it away. Kamberger physically resisted being handcuffed and was tackled to the ground, where he was arrested without further incident. He was also found to be in possession of Methamphetamine. It is a violation of his Restraining Order anytime he enters Gilley's Mobile Home Park. He got mad that his girlfriend did not want to speak with him and he threw a large weight at Sturgeon's vehicle, causing over $1,000 in damage. He was contacted and arrested without incident. It was discovered forced entry was made into the business and cash and merchandise were stolen from inside. Moore was identified as a possible suspect and was contacted at his residence approximately three hours after the burglary. He said he looked to his left, taking his eyes off the road, and didn't notice the parked car on the side of the street. His Nissan sustained extensive damage to the front end.
