A 4 year old male was riding his scooter down his driveway and was hidden from view by shrubs/bushes, so Montgomery did not see him. The 4 year old rode out into the road and he was struck by Montgomery's front passenger tire.His leg was pinned between the tire and his scooter as his leg was run over. Montgomery’s speed was estimated at approximately 15 MPH, based on interviews and witness statements., The boy had extensive injuries to his leg and a neighbor had to apply a tourniquet to stop the blood loss. He was transported to Mercy for his injuries and then flown to OHSU for further treatment. DISPO: Traffic Collision.
