With the seasons changing the Umpqua National Forest announced that their will be changes coming soon to campground availability. People visiting the Diamond Lake Ranger District should expect all campgrounds except for Toketee Lake Campground, to close on October 28th by 1:00 p.m. That means that Bunker Hill, Clearwater Falls, East Lemolo, Inlet, Poole Creek, Thielsen View and Whitehorse Falls Campground all will be closed as of October 28th. Water has been turned off to Poole Creek and Thielsen View already. It should be noted that these campgrounds could be closed earlier due to winter weather conditions. Toketee Lake Campground is a year-round campground, but also has the potential to be closed due to winter weather and snowfall. It is important to check conditions and closures before your trip. If you have any further questions about these closures or would like more information on campground availability, please call the Diamond Lake Ranger District at 541-498-2531.
