Boomer Hill Fire Keeps Local Crews Busy Thursday Afternoon

The Boomer Hill Fire, located about five miles west of Myrtle Creek, burned two acres of grass, brush, and young trees before firefighters stopped the spread of the fire. Crews are finalizing control lines around the perimeter of the fire and are mopping up hot spots. The cause of the fire appears to be human related, however, the specific cause remains under investigation. Via DFPA
