Remembering Marian Virginia Arendt Williams

Marian Virginia Arendt Williams, passed away on Nov. 21, 2022. She was born to Johnnie and Sally Arendt, in 1954, in Gainesville, Texas. She is survived by the love of her life of more than 48 years, Michael Williams, sons Stephen and David Williams, of Roseburg, Oregon, and many grandchildren, siblings, and extended family. Marian’s great joy in life was her family. Caring for her five grandchildren kept her busy for 16 years. Her grandkids could always count on “Magic Nana” to fix any broken toy, sew up any holes in clothing, and repair every worn-out stuffed animal. A great fan of mysteries, puzzles, painting, and wine, Marian loved nothing more than big family gatherings, holding court at the family’s wine-tasting room, and listening to her husband Michael’s Irish band perform. A celebration of life for Marian will be held at the Trella Vineyards Tasting Room from 4 - 7 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 2, 2022, at 646 SE Jackson St, Roseburg, Oregon. All who knew her are welcome.
