Friends of Roseburg Library Book Sale Starts Today

Starting at 9 a.m., the Friends of the Roseburg Public Library will hold their quarterly, three-day book sale beginning today. Find a great book for a quarter to 50 cents – and possibly for free -- at the Friends of the Roseburg Public Library’s Spring Book Sale at the library, 1409 NE Diamond Lake Blvd. Most books have been donated or withdrawn from the library collection, so they may be slightly worn or contain library markings. A selection of art books and new books will be offered for $5 each. From 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. today, March 2, children’s books and mass-market paperbacks will be 25 cents and all other books will be 50 cents. From 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, clearance-sale prices will be 25 cents for all books. From 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, everything still there will be offered for free, so bring bags and boxes to cart home your new finds. Don’t forget to check out the Friends’ permanent bookstore inside the library, which always features free magazines and books for up to 50 cents each.
