Happy New Year everyone! We took advantage of the beautiful weather today and hiked Fall Creek Falls! On the drive back we were fortunate enough to see this beautiful Bald Eagle perched in a large tree overlooking the river! This was one of several eagles we saw perched along the river today. Bald Eagles have incredible eyesight! It is estimated that Bald Eagles can spot prey from up to 1,000 feet!
