January 17, 2024 (Roseburg, OR) - CHI Mercy Health is opening its new Behavioral Health Unit, and the community is welcome to tour it next Tuesday, January 23 from 4 to 6 p.m. The BHU is located on Mercy’s campus at 2601 NW Mercy Drive. All community members are invited to see the patient care rooms, patient activity room and meet the Behavioral Health Unit staff prior to this unit opening to serve patients. “We are looking forward to serving the mental health care needs of our community and this is an opportunity for our community to see the caring, thoughtful space we have created. We are really proud for this unit to open!” says Cassy Cressall, NP, director, Behavioral Health Unit. Funds were contributed by the Oregon Health Authority, Cow Creek Umpqua Tribe of Indians, The Calkins Family, PacificSource, ADAPT and Mercy Foundation. “The opening of this unit is a huge benefit for our community.
