Crater Lake Under Winter Weather Advisory

A winter weather advisory is in effect for the Crater Lake region - up to 20” of new snow possible through Friday! Most of the storm should pass by this weekend. ❄️ Visitors should expect hazardous driving conditions and limited visibility. Snow may obscure views of the lake at times. Vehicles must carry chains or have traction tires installed. ⛓ The road to the rim may close if conditions are dangerous, however the park is always open.
