It was senior day for the seniors and all four of them on the UVC roster scored a goal. The Monarchs (12-3, 11-3) finished in second place in Special District 4 behind Brookings-Harbor. "I think the space we're in is really good in terms of game mentality," UVC coach Chris Guastaferro said. "The guys don't seem burned out but relaxed and excited to play. Over the next few days will be tightening up a few things and working on some new set plays." Spencer Adams led the Monarchs with three goals while Levi Heard added two goals. Ramsey Decoitte, Jaymen Bendelle, Isaac Guastaferro, Koby Sewall and Blake Withers all added a goal for UVC. The Monarchs will now wait for playoff seeding to freeze Saturday night to see if they get a home or away game next Tuesday in the first round of the state playoffs.
