New Turf Installation at Legion Field is Underway

The new turf at Legion Field is now being installed. Synthetic Turf Consulting out of Durango, CO is getting as much of the work done as possible during the break in the weather. They are hoping to have most of the outfield down by Wednesday evening when the rains are expected to arrive in the area. Besides the typical green turf for the outfield and much of the infield, there is a brown turf that is being installed in the infield where the dirt typically is. It's going to be beautiful when it's all done and a great resource for youth in the community!
