New Drive-Thru Food Stand Coming to Roseburg

6:47 PM · Oct 8, 2022

The Smith brothers are bringing a new idea to Roseburg in the form of a drive-thru pizza, salad, and wrap stand called Topp-It Express. The building is under construction near the intersection in front of Roseburg High School and they hope to have it finished by December. “We’ll implement a couple more items as we go,” co-owner Brett Smith said. “It’s a super simple concept where you don’t have a lot of choices. It’s convenient and super simple.” Smith said he came up with the concept at the beginning of the pandemic when people couldn’t sit down in a restaurant, but still wanted to have the convenience of eating food someone else made. “I just felt like everything changed forever,” Smith said. “People are getting used to doing drive-thru options. The high school is obviously attractive and the hotel is right behind it. We will perfect the first one and see if it’s worth opening more locations. If it works out, we’ll forge ahead.” Smith plans to hire about 20 people to manage the drive-thru and walk-up orders. The Roseburg-born and raised Smith owns the business with his brother Bryon Smith and one other owner. The brothers are also owners of Ten Down Bowling and Splitz, but the businesses will be totally separate.
