Mink

I had the pleasure of photographing this little Mink along the South Umpqua River yesterday morning! Minks are small predatory mammals closely related to the Otter and can be found in the same habitat. They eat a lot of small fish, frogs, small rodents, and Crawfish. Like this Mink, they are most often seen running along the banks of rivers and streams in search of food.
